PRESIDENT TRUMP — Bring Our Loved Ones Home
President Trump has helped free at least 105 American hostages and wrongful detainees in just his second term so far.
But six Americans have been left behind in Russia, and they need President Trump’s help to finally come home.
5 have been held in Russia for over a year, 3 for over 4 years.
Their families have written the following letter to the only man who can bring them home:
President Trump

Dear President Trump,
Each of us has a loved on being held unjustly in Russia. We need your help to bring them home.
The six of us don’t know each other, but our shared experience has bonded us. We know that the Russian justice system will not free them, in fact, it is what was used to justify their wrongful detention. They were arrested, convicted, and sentenced so they could be used as bargaining chips. Their human rights have been repeatedly violated. Their lives and our lives have been put on hold until they are free.
We have seen progress in this area. On January 9, the US returned two Russian sailors who were on a tanker the US seized for violating sanctions on Venezuela. On January 8, the Russians released a French researcher in exchange for a Russian basketball player. On February 5, your own son-in-law and Special Envoy — Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff — arranged for the exchange of 157 POWS each from Ukraine and Russia. Most recently, on March 6, they did it again and exchanged 500 Russian and Ukrainian prisoners on both sides.
We know you are working hard to end the war in Ukraine. But the release of our loved ones does not need to wait for that to happen. Your administration is working productively with the Russians.
We know you have tools like the Robert Levinson Hostage Recovery and Hostage-Taking Accountability Act and the designation of a country as a State Sponsor of Wrongful Detention. But we are asking that you use your relationship with President Putin to bring home at least six Americans held abroad.
President Trump, you are the only way that our loved ones will come home. We need your help.
